I remember googling this phrase the first time ADHD was suggested as a possible 'thing' for my daughter. Racing home I typed in, 'ADHD symptoms in children'. I rarely used Google as a Dr because as we all know, we can suffer from any of the symptoms listed if we put our mind to it! Firstly it gave me a brief description of what ADHD was. ADHD and OCD

Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) and Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder (OCD) are two of the most common mental health conditions in the United States. ADHD is a neurodevelopmental disorder characterised by problems with focus, hyperactivity, and impulsiveness. OCD is a chronic condition marked by unwanted and intrusive thoughts, emotions, or impulses that lead to repetitive behaviours or compulsions. Roughly 30% of people with OCD have ADHD. While they have some similarities, they are also two very different disorders.
